The Search for Techno Signatures Is More Important Than the Search for Byo Signatures
The search for techno signatures has four compelling advantages compared to the search for byo signatures. The difference is millions in terms of the volume that can be searched. Bio signatures can be confounded with natural processes that are not related to life. If there is information incuded in the signal, thereis the potential for tremendous advance in human knowledge if we are able to decode it.
