J. David sloane and the rogues were house band at country music night club in phoenix, a place called mister lucky's. They hired Claud to play between sets of two main bands that were playing this american music tent at the shupor. The first day there, i could see that my performance was unnecessary and superfluous. But what made it so important was that we were there together for a month, playing five nights a week. And they said, why don't you sit in with us during our sets every night? That way you will have worked and they'll have to pay you.
