How to Memorize New Words and Phrases

For words and phrases that you hear and think hum a'sthe kind of thing i would say in my own language, this is where you should focus your energy. In your notebook, write down the original word or phrase. Write down how it was used in context. And repeat it out loud, ideally several times. If you do this, you are significantly more likely to actually be able to remember the word or phrase when it comes to using it yourself.
