What Is Joab's Threat?

Joab and Abishai, the son of Bikri, are on a mission to pursue Shaba. They meet up with Amasa who was supposed to be Joab's replacement. As they're about to meet, he takes his sword from its sheath while kissing Amasa. He then stabs him in the stomach without striking a second blow so that he dies immediately.
