How Did You Embrace Your Dad's Skills?
Did you at any point have an ambition to follow in your father's footsteps? I definitely had an aspiration to go into the shipyards and find a trade where that was welding, metalwork, you know, being a shipwright, etc. And then I had the benefit of having two inspirational teachers at my school. More or less, they took me under their wing when I was a young physics teacher,. another young maths teacher who saw a spark of capability in me. Both were struck by university graduates, so you can imagine which institution they pointed me towards - electronic and electrical engineering.
