Enemies and Contempt
Contempt is always directional, right? Contempt is not you don't hold contempt for yourself. You feel contempt because you long to be where they are sort of thing. The way the contempt looks is envy. So envy up, scorn down. And in so many ways, I think Twitter is just when people use Twitter that's literally what's happening. Like Instagram as another example is a perfect example of this. It's destructive but it's also hyper addictive.
