MFA - I'm a Disabled, Neuro Divergent MFA, You Know?

When I went to the MFA program, there were a lot of wealthy white men who were writing about drug addicted and despairing sort of, you know, violent, womanizing men. And that was all part of the process. There's nothing wrong with a bunch of rich white people being there, so long as they're actually creative and interesting. But from my experience, those two are very different things, different roles. People who write very well but don't have any interesting ideas behind them aren't anywhere near this kind of industries in which they can foster their interesting thoughts into beautiful writing that also moves people.
