NATO's Support for Russia and Russia's Actions in the Middle East?
Russia has been planning, basically, building its economic strength for a long time. It was accumulating financial reserves to be able to withstand any impact of sanctions. So there is a sense in which perhaps if you like, a NATO's perspective or a US perspective, you may miss the other side of this coin. But having said that, it is clear there has been a united response from NATO allies. There are shades of opinion within that broad support but it has endured so far.
