The Trial of Ulysses in Zurich

In Zurich, bits of Ulysses start to come out. And there ends up over time being a trial about whether this work is obscene or not. He had all these people who were helping him, including Ezra Pound and Harriet Weaver. So, it's not like Joyce went over to the United States to defend him. It was various publishers and things. That's not that stuff has always been a cult. It's a cult. Oh, yeah, big time. I don't know if it's helped a lot of people, but there is a cultic quality to it.
