This is waiters, written and read by andrew motion. And then we'll hear this poem, because i think our reader, our listeners are going to be sufficiently tantalized. Think, whats what are theyscoing? What are they talking about? But here's thing. Did you make a conscious decision or not not to write this in rhyming lines? Yes i did. I wanted something a little bit more open. It's so hard to use credi without being glib, or i mant the sense of boxes shutting.
