The idea of using gaming to improve things that we already value, I guess, societally, like education and exercise is brilliant. It's tapping into something like deeply psychological. But there are more worrying forms of gamification, which I would call coercive gamification,. And so those are the kind of like either perfectly fine or just somewhat objectionable about things.
