The Story of Fred West
In 1960, Fred West was hit by a girl while trying to grow a girl. He tumbled over the railing and fell ten feet, landing head first on the concrete below. A steel plate had been inserted in Fred's head to hold his shattered skull together. While awaiting his day in court, Fred groomed a 14-year-old girl, even offering her an engagement ring. She said that Fred raped her twice; he suffered some kind of seizure-like attack. For the first time in his life, he earned his mother's content.
