Is There a Hero's Myth in Roosevelt's Definition?
In your conception of Roosevelt as a myth maker, could any person become kind of a hero in his definition? So no matter what their race or ethnic background, was it possible for an African American, a Native American for these new immigrants coming to this country? Was it possible for them all to kind of follow their own hero's myth? Yes, because when he's telling these stories, the people who were first coming to the North American continent, and he named them, you know, French, British.
