My dad got his start like doing car stuff one day he just went into a garage and he was like hey I need a job they're like here's a broom yeah. So that's kind of how he steered his career towards Portia now that starts on the east coast. He bought a 59 Portia coupe from his boss is that a 356 right and then he proceeded to wrap it around a tree wow so that was his first introduction to like his own Portia after that It was mostly like VW's with hot rod motors like 912 motors or 356 motors that he hot rotted a lot of people were into that in the 80s.
