Dr. Oz's campaign is criticizing his opponent, John Federman, but not for any of his policies. His senior communications advisor wrote a letter to Federman saying he should have eaten more veggies in his life and wouldn't have had a major stroke. Federman responded by tweeting: I can't imagine ridiculing someone for their health challenges. A hundred Pennsylvania doctors put out a statement condemning Dr. Oz after the comments.
