Slum Tours of Initiatives

There was something similar to happen with some of these slum tours of initiatives. There were flower charities. So people would go to these really poor parts of town, and they would give flowers to people who had terrible lives. It's to show we care. The times said, what a pleasure it must be to a sufferer imprisoned in one of these tenements to receive a flower With its color and its green leaves and stemw are they being serious or sto they being ironic?
