The Parochial Argument for Beauty

Deutsche may turn out to be right about this but I don't think his argument is yet sufficient, he got his partway there. But he's not yet differentiating between things like taste, because his arguments were just as well for taste, that's the problem. We don't have a good enough argument yet to know if that's going to be true for beauty. There could be a completely parochial explanation for why humans and bees find flowers beautiful. He talks about how we also find peacock feathers beautiful but he scratches that up to being parochial.
