Mirabeau's Argument for the National Assembly
Mirabeau's argument was that the national assembly was already alienating itself from the rest of the country over the civil constitution of the clergy. He did not want to go back to the ways of the encion regime but if things kept heading in a radical direction, what good reforms had been made would be lost. Mirabeau started strongly urging them to figure out a way to get out of paris.
