The Importance of Discipline in Creativity

I do this in a car from time to time when I have a big idea for an episode of this podcast. Most of my big insights happen in the shower though, and unfortunately I haven't figured out how to record in there. It can be easy as a person trying to make things to imagine that people who are really good at it comes out in a polished form right from the beginning. And so it's nice to remember that within in the early mess of it, it's all raw.
