Deer Populations Are on the Rise in the UK

Nigel Foster is wildlife manager for forestry England, which looks after 250,000 hectares of land across the country. Deer populations are actually on the increase in the other pice for a thousand years. The fact that we get milder winters, there's more crops growing during the winters, so they're in better condition. But sometimes if the population increases too much, it can have a negative impact on the forest environment.
