I think I read certain types of books for the same reason I might read a thriller which is escapism into a different world and I read a lot of non-fiction for that reason to learn about things I don't know about. Is it more nature travel than nature really? Nanshep's writing is what it means to know something how you come to to understand more about a place or about people or about anything. She challenges us to go back to the same places and to keep seeing new things there.
