This in many ways is a follow up to God and empire. And it's also addressing a different moment in the life of Christians and the church in the present. I was asking why should we as Christians celebrate the Roman Empire, which crucified our Lord since they had destroyed their temple. Now, however, I'm looking after the Trump years, quite frankly, at a different scenario. This is really the ghost that haunts this book, you might say or the echo in the background.
