The Pattern of Regeneration in Psalm 103
In Psalm 103, there's a presumption of the fact that we need renewal. David says, my soul blessed the Lord and all that is within me bless his holy name. The only other place that what I'm about to talk about happens is in the next Psalm over,. And that is David begins by addressing his own soul. So you'll have other Psalms that will begin with David or the Psalmist already in worship.
