Is Divorce a Good Thing?

Paul says the wife should not separate from her husband, but if she does, she should remain unmarried. He wants them to know the seriousness of the relationship they are entering into. The idea here is that god's goal and will for marriage is that divorce not be what happens. That doesn't mean that god can't work all things together for good, including divorce.
