The January 6 Justice Department Referral of the Former President of the United States

Ari Melber: It's not every day that somebody gets charged with a crime like insurrection. Even since January 6, as we have seen hundreds of people who participated in the attack on Congress brought up on federal charges, you're not seeing them brought up on insurrection. The Justice Department can take or leave this referral. They don't have to act on it if they don't want to.
