The Importance of Showing Up in the Community
The way to build a network is to be present in the communities that you want to work in. If you never show up until you need something, you're not going to get the support that you would hope for. And continuing to show up and be a friendly and welcoming and positive addition to the community is the biggest thing that you can do.
