US Hypocrisy on Climate Change and the Role of the US Military

This chapter explores the United States' hypocrisy in criticizing China's carbon emissions while being the largest institutional consumer of oil and emitter of carbon dioxide, primarily due to the energy consumption of its military and worldwide infrastructure. It argues for wealthy imperialist nations to acknowledge their historic debt and actively reduce carbon emissions.
