The Fed's Failure to Pivot

The market remains in a state of limbo, basically. It's basically liquidity limbo, because the market keeps expecting the Fed to pivot. And I think the Fed is very deliberate about maintaining its credibility as an inflation fighter. So this is why the Fed has not pivoted yet in any way. The stress in the banking system that surfaced a few weeks ago caused the market to expect an immediate pivot and cut at the next FOMC.
