Man's convoluted coup scheme collapsed before it really got started. Congolese rebels failed to capture the airstrip and probably never even tried to assault it. The ZDI plane had no place to land so it flew back to Harare. A lot of the guys who were getting drunk in those hotels would go on to wish that they'd just stayed in the hotels getting drunk. So not a great first try but is it fun to get drunk in fancy hotels? It is!
