What Can We Do to Help Your Pain?
In a study as part of my PhD, we got kids to draw whatever they think of when they hear the word pain. We conceptualize pain based on the experiences around us. So if you ask a kid, it's often really concrete. And so providing prognostic education and some of those things can be really reassuring.
