Is There a Third of Our Character Shaped by Our Pre Mortal Life?
We come to earth with a character, but a third of that personality is probably shaped genetically. We know right the extent to which characteristics and traits are inherited directly biologically. And as social science has abundant proof to point to the third part of this equation which is environment peers. So i think we're all a complex mixture, mixture of all those things. It's not to excuse or exculpate any kind of behavior. It is to say that in assessing and analyzing our own behavior and our own conduct, we have good reason to be more forgiving and more generous with ourselves than maybe our cultural language led us to the past.
