The Importance of Creativity in Knowledge Work
In his TED talk, Andrew Keen argues that large language models can generate a lot of things in a very compelling and even creative way. He says the word "creative" is ambiguous as all words are; it could be brute force or truly lightning in a bottle creativity. The work he's done on this project has led him to think about how we should protect intellectual property laws for people like Katy Perry who create melodies through brute force.
