Derrida on Hierarchy

Derrida says that the Western world, this logocentric world privileges hierarchies as inherently good. And so Derrida is saying hierarchy is actually bad. These are not rational things when we created these hierarchies. He ends up saying that it is patriarchal and phalo-centric. So then we get this idea of deconstruction.
