The medical history is the other critical part of em the neurological diagnostic system. Even with the most sophisticated modern technology, you cannot get this information by using a machine. So it's very interesting that a hundred years on, this formalized examination has e survived. You have to allow the patient to tell their own story without interrupting every ten seconds. And then you need to ask a few focused, er, open handed questions in order to home down on what you suspect from what the patient has taught you.
