Conscientiousness is at least in part the ability to delay gratification. It's the best predictor of long term life success, especially in managerial jobs. So your hypothesis is that the primary way men are socializing,. that is by using work to play, as a asa, as a bridge. Yes, that that play creates a bond. But with dad, or moms who rough house with the children, a bond is created and from the end, and you want to return to that connection.
