"I was in a theater I was in a professional theater company in 10th grade," he says. "Because I had long hair and because I really didn't really vibe with the rest of everything going on, I got a got pulled into that kind of world" Joe's parents would send him home at midnight sometimes to work but they wouldn't let him take the subway when he needed it. He auditioned like 600 kids and they took like 30 or 40; still doesn't know how he got in.
