If I have a knee-jerk reaction, then I will be a jerk. And the more of a gap you can put in place from the tweet, the social media posts, road rage, somebody saying something you don't like or not saying something you want them to do and just pausing that split second. That's the only thing you control in your life. It's you get to choose how you're going to respond. You know, even if it means just getting up and walking out the room, or if you sat down standing up and going into some jumping jacks or whatever it is for you or some breasts. If you can bring that gap, it's a superpower
