Dr. Jeffrey Karp is a leading bioengineer, holding a professorship at Harvard Medical School and MIT. Karp has co-founded 13 companies, raising over $600 million. His Laboratory ‘Karp Lab’ focuses on advanced biomaterials and devices for therapeutics, and focuses on medical problem-solving fields like a nasal spray effective against viruses. Some of the groundbreaking technologies he’s developed are tissue adhesives (TISSIUM), target drug delivery needs, and 3D printing biomedical devices. His dedication to bioengineering research has led to over 30,000 citations for his publications (0.1% globally) and multiple awards by the National Academy of Inventors and TEDMED.
