Is There a Future for Artificial Intelligence?

Turing concluded his famous paper on computing, machinery and intelligence with the words, we can only see a short di ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done. Many of the things turing saw in 19 50 that needed to be done have been done, but the agenda is as full as ever. And i don't know if i've stated before sometime on the podcast, but i feel like the artificial intelligence project, the original one, was very important in computer science.
