The Importance of Protecting Yourself in the Cold
You had to keep an eye on everybody to make sure they were safe. If the tips of their ears or nose were red, that's good. They've got blood going through their ears. But as soon as they start to turn white in a gray color, very, very bad cells are dying. There's no blood flow and they get frozen solid - these parts will just fall off. It'll snap. And if it's just frostbitten, it'll turn black and it'll die.
