The Autonomous Coping of the Community

Iman Illich, he has a book called Tools for Conviviality and conviviality means living together. So the autonomous coping he talks about when Dylan was suffering and with pain, and he certainly lived this. It does not mean that when you are in pain, that you will pop out of it by yourself. The whole community shared this affliction because they knew it could happen to them. And so I feel like maybe some of that is going on with the word of autonomous there.
