The Need for a New Frontier

I think a lot of this is just like, okay, we need a new version of the web so that we can get a do over. Yeah. I also wonder if some of the impulse is the need to create a new frontier. That these guys are all literally frontier, like oil barons kind of. Are the people who came out first dug the wells, mined the shit when no one else was there? And now the wells are drying up or they've at least topped out. And they're saying, wait, I need to do that again. What's the next frontier? And they're pointing at something and declaring that's the frontier. Everyone's going to go there.
