It wasn't until nineteen seventy eight that the american indian religious freedom act gave the lakota and other tribes the right to perform their sacred rituals. A, i've found even in my own family, my lacote family is very diverse, you know, spiritually, am speaking. There's there's really the influence of christianity. And i think that has a lot to with the history y rit yo, and people had to pray somehow. I'm not terribly religious or terribly strict in any sense of the word when it comes to religion. Am, but so i'll go to things, or i'll participate in things if they relate to family.
