Two Challenges of Missionary Work in Asia

For any missionary to be successful he must identify with the people he plans to reach. Anyone, Asian or American who insists on still going out as a representative of Western missions and organizations will be ineffective today,. We cannot maintain a Western lifestyle or outlook and work among the poor of Asia. Money could be far better used supporting national missionaries in the churches the Holy Spirit is spontaneously birthing. With their money and technology many organizations are simply buying people to perpetuate foreign denominations, ways and beliefs.
