Wellness Day - Is There a Balance Between Performance and Performance?
So much of wellness day is also focused on perfection, like getting it right. I think that's really important in terms of just saying that it doesn't have to be performative. And part of me also wants to say, is there a way for that to be built in and around food because food is something we do every single day in some capacity or another? Oh, yeah. Perfectionism is impossible. That's my short answer. But again, going back to this issue of settler colonialism, the entire food system and industry is corrupt. It is designed to cause us to be addicted to things that tend to not be the greatest for our health.
