The Good News of Christianity

This is the gospel that this Old Testament psalmist is looking forward to. God allowed the affliction to come with sin so that we might know something of his wrath against sin. Jesus defeated sin and death, yes, but it's still here. And He's ruling and reigning now, but during this in between time we're waiting until that rule becomes apparent to all,. and sin and death are done away with forever.
