Japan's Position in the War on Taiwan
Would Japan join the U.S. in combat operations directly firing at China, or would they more likely stay neutral? I think the Japanese are now tilting towards a much more aggressive posture while still adhering to a collective self-defense mantra. It's something that Japan has basically talked about for the past year, that Taiwan is no go zone from their perspective. That a first strike or an invasion of Taiwan is a red line. And at that point, Japan and likely Australia aren't going to be on the outside looking in for long.
