He says we have a media environment that upregulates division because it's more profitable that way. In some ways you could say this is just kind of evolutionary pressure doing its work, like more communities means more strategies being tried in the new environment. But I kind of take a look around and I'm thinking like, this is sort of an unfortunate moment to be hitting the information scaling threshold. We need to figure out how to think together over the network pretty quick to cope with them.
