Alex Castellanos was a high school football player in Texas. He says he remembers playing two-day games because of the heat, which killed kids all around. A headline said that Death Valley was nearing the global heat record set in 1913 at 134 degrees Fahrenheit. But there are scientists who don't believe that reading from 1913 was accurate.
