Is There a Free Market?

capitalism, first of all, is a word that Marx came up with. But the actual free market as it's laid out by Adam Smith is much closer to the idea that the distributed cognition of all the people is going to be much more powerful determiner of what products are needed and what price they should sell at. So we haven't anything approaching a free market for decades or 100 years in this country.
